Dec 11
On the morning of Dec 11 (I'm playing catch up on my bloging, now isn't that Lazy?) the trepid trio of travelers together took to the toiling road (could not come up with a T word for road).
As we stopped in Amarillo on our first night (remember starting point was Austin) we of course started from Amarillo for our second day of traveling. After much searching for a Chevron station (Ray gets 30 cents a gallon off at Chevron/Texaco for the next 60 days) one was located. So in we went to fill up with petrol.
As we were filling up a fire truck came down the road with its siren blaring away. Then I heard this AHHHHRRRROOOOO, AHHHHHRRRRROOOO and looked around and there was Reese with her head out the window howling with the siren. Keeping just about perfect harmony with the siren. It was very funny.
So what does Ray do next? Well of course he calls Sheila Wedegis (one of only a few other people who are as obsessed about Labs as Ray is) and shared the experience.
Oh, what happened the rest of the Day? Well we drove very leisurely up to Douglas Wyoming where we spent the night (It is Dec 12 am as I write this).
Today (Dec 12) we finish up our drive to Bozeman.
So stay tuned
